The Super Legacy XP cabin interior is created using the most modern and effective Skandia engineered soundproofing materials which include applications to the fuselage skin and floor areas, thermal acoustic insulation bags, over frame blankets and carpet pad.
This acoustic system offers passengers and crew reduced cabin noise and increased comfort in all phases of flight. In final testing, a significant overall sound reduction of 4dB(SIL) was achieved while some cabin seating areas achieved approximately 6dB(SIL) noise reduction. Coupled with the reduced noise benefit of the MT propeller, the combined noise reduction is a massive 12 decibels.
The system also makes a significant thermal improvement, the aircraft cabin warms up more rapidly when cold and is quicker to cool when hot.
The Super Legacy XP features a completely refurbished interior including high gloss lacquered wood grain cabinetry, leather inlaid tables, new loop pile carpets and re-upholstered diamond quilted executive leather seats with brushed satin metalwork. Two additional commuter seats are also available as an option enabling a 2 crew + 8 passenger operation.
Sidewalls and ultra-suede headlining are renewed to create a light and airy cabin. Seat scatter cushions are used to add contrast and provide an accent colour.
